This includes seagrass flats, mangroves, coastal and wetland wildlife. The Woolverton Trails feature amazing views of wildlife. Kayak through canopy mangrove forests while exploring natural coastal conditions. Mangrove forests are tidal wetlands that inhabit low energy shorelines in the coastal areas of southwest Florida. Mangrove forests are very high in ecological value, and contribute much to the health of our waterways. Their root systems stabilize shoreline areas, buffer storm surge and help prevent erosion. Mangroves provide nesting habitat for many native, and endangered coastal birds. Kayak the Woolverton Trails and discover the many fish that surround the mangrove forests.

Paddle Board & Kayak Sunset Tours

Paddling at dusk is one of the most beautiful times to be on the water. The sky glows from the setting sun and moon begins to rise over the horizon. Paddle boarding during this time is an incredible experience. After the sunset, the water glows with your paddle strokes as bioluminescent marine life lights your way. Comb jellies are often seen shimmering in the water as you paddle by them. Decide to be adventurous and paddle under the stars with SUP Englewood.
Sunset paddle board tours are only offered online occasionally in Fall & Spring. SUP Englewood holds high standards for safety. Sunset paddle tours are usually cancelled in Summer due to winds or late afternoon thunderstorms.

You can request a private tour of any Barrier Island Destination throughout the year. Private tours are based on availability. Call (941) 234-4311 for more information.
