About Nicole Miers-Pandolfi

I grew up playing on the beaches in Englewood, Florida. I have always had a passion for the water and nature. I fell in love with SUP years ago, mainly because of the wildlife that one can view from a paddleboard. My passion continues to grow as my creativity for how to utilize my board expands. I started SUP Englewood 2 years after graduating with my B.A. in Psychology. I had worked for corporate America for a short time before deciding to follow my dreams.

SUP is one of my passions and I have the pleasure of sharing it with other people every day. I look forward to hitting the water and seeing wildlife on the tours. As well as teaching people a new sport. Paddleboarding is rewarding on many levels, I love meeting new people and seeing them fall in love with the sport as well.

My clients safety is the most important concern while out in the water. I am an American Red Cross certified lifeguard, with CPR and First Aid training.

My determination to share SUP with everyone motivated me to become the SUP coach for Special Olympics Florida in Sarasota and Charlotte counties. I also teach SUP lessons for children and adults with special needs. Modifications are provided to ensure success.

Unique Locations
Experiencing SUP at any of our various locations offers unique views of the wildlife that surround our barrier islands. From Boca Grande to Venice Island our locations ensure a close up view of the wildlife in their natural habitat. Unlike launching from a marina, when you paddleboard with SUP Englewood you launch directly into nature.
Salt Water Only
All of SUP Englewood’s locations are in salt water only. Meaning there are no alligators where we paddleboard. There are lots of dolphins and manatees!
Support Florida State Parks
SUP Englewood helps support the Florida Sate Parks by bringing visiters to their Englewood and Boca Grande locations. Our Florida State Parks are run on the entrance fees not tax dollars. The $3 per car fee helps keep the nature protected in this area.
Giving Back to the Community
Coaching for Special Olympics Florida Sarasota and Charlotte counties is SUP Englewood’s way to help give back to the community. Our athletes train every Sunday morning from 8:00-10:00 AM at Stump Pass Beach State Park. Training is held from May-Oct. You are welcome to come out and cheer on the athletes during this time.
Cleaning Our Waterways
SUP Englewood respects the water and earth by cleaning up any debris that is found while out on the water. From beach balls to furniture – if we see it we haul it out!

Bill Hordyk

Never knew what a standup paddle board (SUP) was, until one day I was on the beach and saw someone on one. At that moment I became obsessed with finding a place to try to ride one of these “things”. well I signed up for a tour, loved it. A couple of weeks later we had two new SUPs in the garage. Things just snowballed, being from up north I know about snow balls, now we are on the water four to five days a week. I volunteer with the Special Olympics Florida SUP athletes. Now I have a great job taking people out on SUP tours. Life is great. To think it all started with, what are those things?

SUP Yoga Instructor

Deeping my practice and following the path of a yoga instructor has enhanced my home practice. Yoga is a path, it is not about the asnas or postures. Yoga allows the mind to be calm and focus on the present moment. Practicing yoga on the paddle board connects you to the environment and the energy that surrounds you. Enjoy the naturally meditative environment of Florida’s Gulf Coast waterways. Practice yoga in the most natural and serene locations. Soak in the healing energy of the sun and salt water while relaxing your mind and body.
